Bruce is President/Chief Executive Officer of Catalyst Corporate Federal Credit Union. In this role, he is responsible for implementing the corporate's strategic goals and objectives and for assisting Catalyst Corporate's board in fulfilling its governance functions. Bruce provides direction to the senior executive team and serves on Catalyst Corporate's Asset/Liability Committee (ALCO) and Enterprise Risk Committee.
Previously, Bruce served as Executive Vice President & Chief Investment Officer, a role in which he directed Catalyst Corporate's asset/liability management, lending, and portfolio management functions and was responsible for the development of all balance sheet management and derivative strategies and services.
Bruce also served as the operating principal for CUSOURCE, LLC, d/b/a Catalyst Strategic Solutions (a corporate CUSO wholly-owned by Catalyst Corporate), which provides investment advisory services and asset/liability management reporting and consulting services to credit unions.
Active in the financial industry for more than three decades, Bruce serves as chairman of the board of CU Investment Solutions, LLC, a registered broker/dealer, serves on the boards of CU Business Group, LLC, and Primary Financial Company, LLC, and as an advisory trustee of the Cornerstone Credit Union Foundation.
Prior to joining Catalyst Corporate, Bruce was an investment portfolio manager for Members Insurance Company in Dallas, Texas. He also worked in various capacities with two regional brokerage firms. Bruce received a bachelor's degree in finance and a master's degree in finance, both from Texas A&M University at Commerce. He also holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 27, 53, 63, and 65 licenses.
