| A/LM Analyst | This position is responsible for providing a variety of financial analyses to clients of the Asset/Liability Management Service (A/LM Service) and Advisory Service including Asset/Liability Management (A/LM) analysis and interest-rate risk analyses.
Specific responsibility in each analysis includes: 1) accurate input and evaluation of data and assumptions; 2) identification and effective communication of risk exposures; 3) the formation of general recommendations on how risk should be managed over the near-term and long-term horizons; 4) meeting or exceeding departmental turnaround time goals, and 5) generating other ad-hoc analysis for clients as needed.
Basic Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Finance or Economics; Understanding of Net Present Value, Discounted Cash Flow models; Highly proficient in MS Office (primarily MS Excel); Strong communication skills, both written and oral; Self starter; excellent problem solving/analytical skills, ability to learn.
Preferred Requirements: General understanding of basic Accounting Principals; Knowledge of financial instruments (i.e. bonds, loans, etc.).
Other: Graduate level education and/or participation in the CFA program viewed as a plus;
Familiarity with BancWare ALM, QRM, KRM, or other complex ALM software is a plus | Plano,TX |
