International Wire Enhancements

Catalyst Corporate Federal Credit Union will soon introduce new enhancements to the international wire entry screen in TranZact. These enhancements will improve the efficiency of the international wire process for your credit union, as well as for Catalyst Corporate. The additional features will be available March 27.

The features being added to the international wire entry screen include the following:

1. A more efficient process to designate submission of US dollar wires or foreign exchange (FX) wires. (When entering an FX wire, you will have the ability to choose the desired currency and lock in the appropriate exchange rate on all dollar amounts.)
2. Foreign exchange (FX) wires will be entered using a fixed US dollar amount that calculates the corresponding foreign amount; or conversely, using a fixed foreign amount that calculates the corresponding US dollar amount.
3. The international bank identifying number (the SWIFT code) that is entered within the wire instructions will be validated and the foreign bank information will be automatically populated.
