Lock Box
Conversion Information [Go Back]
This Transition Update provides
important information about transitioning to Catalyst Corporate’s Lock
Box processing service. Credit unions using Western Bridge Corporate’s
Lock Box service will be converted individually to the Catalyst
service. All conversions must be completed before May 14, 2012.
Catalyst Corporate staff will help lead your credit union through the
conversion process.
Before
conversion, credit unions will be asked to:
- Complete TranZact enrollment and training, for administrators and
all required users. A letter was sent to all account-holders in
January to initiate the TranZact enrollment process. To access
that information, visit catalystcorp.org/westernwelcome.
To register for training, visit catalystcorp.org/westerntrain and
scroll until you see Lock Box Training. Four online sessions are
offered during April.
- Consult credit union technical support staff to
determine if your credit union uses IP address restrictions in
your firewall. The conversion will result in new Internet Protocol
(IP) addresses for a range of internet-based services, including
Lock Box. Later this month your credit union will receive a
detailed listing of services and their IP addresses along with
instructions for making the changes, if necessary.
- Complete the Lock Box Set-up Form provided by
Catalyst Corporate.
- Submit Lock Box coupons to Catalyst Corporate’s
Lock Box service provider.
- Receive one or more payment files for testing
and validation.
After
conversion, credit unions will be asked to:
- Access TranZact for viewing images and account
activity.
- Continue to use the same P.O. Box used today
for payments processed by Western Bridge Corporate.
On behalf of
each credit union, Catalyst Corporate will:
- Test the processing of credit union Lock Box
coupons and items.
- Ensure seamless transition of existing
processes, including use of existing Lock Box addresses, provided
by Western Bridge Corporate.
- Receive, edit, and process all Western Bridge
Lock Box deposits according to member requirements.
- Provide credit unions with a payment file(s) in
credit union specific formats.
- Send properly formatted X9.100 image exchange
files for collection.
- Provide daily reporting of settlement totals.
- Provide a Deposit Detail Report (DDR) of
deposited items for reconcilement.
- Provide image archive services to support
online image retrieval.
To begin the
process, please complete the Lock Box Set-up Form. Once completed,
return to: contactus@catalystcorp.org or fax to:
214.703.7905
Following receipt of your set up form, a member of the Catalyst
Corporate team will contact you to answer your questions and assist
with implementation. In the meantime do not hesitate to contact us with
