Look, Up in the Sky...

by Catalyst Corporate | Aug 13, 2019

...It’s a bird. It’s a plane. It’s a full moon!

For those looking into the night sky later this week, there will indeed be a full moon. It’s a bright reminder that there are only two full moons left until Catalyst Corporate’s Economic & Payments Forum.

Why all the interest in the moon?

Well, in addition to celebrating this year’s 50th anniversary of America’s first moon-landing, and an out-of-this world line up of presenters, the Economic & Payments Forum also features a presentation by Apollo 17 astronaut Harrison Schmitt, who made three spectacular moonwalks during his stay on the lunar surface.

During a special fundraising luncheon benefiting the Cornerstone Credit Union Foundation, attendees will also have the opportunity to meet and take pictures with the most recent person to walk on the moon.

And, of course, there are 20 CPE credits worth of timely insights from economists and credit union thought leaders including:

  • Economist and Former U.S. Navy Commander Mary Kelly: FutureNomics for Credit Union Leaders
  • NAFCU Chief Economist and VP of Research Curt Long: Credit Union Economics: the Good, the Bad and the Uncertain
  • Economist and Wall Street Journal’s Most Accurate Forecaster in 2018 Bernard Baumohl: Housing Influences on the Economy
  • Digital Transformation Expert Daniel Newman: Digital Transformation in the Experience Economy
  • Nacha President/CEO Jane Larimer: The Future of Payments: Global Trends, Faster Payments and the ACH Network
  • CU 2.0 Founder Kirk Drake: At the Intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Credit Unions

Register today to attend the 2019 Economic & Payments Forum, set for Sept. 30-Oct. 3 at the Omni Hotel, next to the Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters in Frisco, Texas. For complete details, visit
