Leah Schlangen
Senior Investment Officer
Leah is responsible for providing investment strategies to help credit unions enhance their investment ladders and achieve their investment goals. She also serves as Catalyst Corporate's SimpliCD program administrator.
Leah comes to Catalyst with 14 years’ credit union experience and vast knowledge of credit union needs, requirements and challenges. She worked at Western Corporate Federal Credit Union as relationship manager for credit unions with assets under $150 million to produce net interest income through the laddering of investment portfolios. She also was responsible for implementing and managing the SimpliCD program through WesCorp’s in-house broker/dealer and previously served as its compliance officer.
Leah’s experience also includes assisting credit unions during SunCorp's recapitalization process. Her most recent position was with an investment advisory firm in the private sector.
Leah holds FINRA Series 7, 24 and 63 licenses.
