Brent is responsible for all enterprise risk management, compliance, interest rate risk assessment, liquidity risk assessment, investment credit risk assessment and facilities functions within Catalyst Corporate. As a member of the executive management team, Brent directs his team’s efforts to measure and reduce exposure to risk based on a global understanding of the organization as a whole and the elements that comprise it.
Brent joined Catalyst Corporate in 1990, managing the ALM, member lending, and compliance functions before transitioning into his current position. Prior to arriving at Catalyst Corporate, Brent served as head of asset liability management at American Federal Bank and as investment portfolio manager/head of secondary mortgage market hedging and sales for Murray Federal Savings and its mortgage banking subsidiary.
Brent received his bachelor of science and master of science degrees in economics from the University of North Texas. He is a member of the North American Asset/Liability Management Association and the Dallas Association of Business Economists.
