Putin invades Ukraine, NATO and Russia contest for European security dominance, and the EU debates its energy dependence on Moscow. U.S.-China relations grow tense over Taiwan, trade, and human rights, and Washington seeks closer ties with India, Japan and others for regional counterbalance. Meanwhile, Middle Eastern oil and gas supply chains face disruption and weapons proliferation, as Iran pursues nuclear weapons to threaten its Arab neighbors with nuclear weapons.
What happens to the global and U.S. economies as a result of these mounting challenges?
John Sitilides, a Washington D.C. government affairs and geopolitical strategist, will offer his specialized analysis on the subject with attendees at Catalyst Corporate’s 46th Annual Economic & Payments Forum. Sitilides' session, entitled “Washington and the World: The New Geopolitics of Great Power Rivalry,” will explore U.S. and global risk trends and international threat assessments that impact business, investment and policy decisions.
