Minnie’s Food Pantry

In April 2026, members of the Catalyst Leadership Team volunteered at Minnie's Food Pantry in Plano, Texas – lending a hand to support families in need. The team helped pack food and serve community members, reinforcing Catalyst's commitment to community outreach and our credit union philosophy of People Helping People.

American Heart Association 2026

In March 2026, Catalyst supported the American Heart Association through a financial contribution of $2,572, reinforcing our ongoing commitment to community health initiatives.

Credit Unions 4 Kids Wine Auction 2026

In March 2026, Catalyst supported Credit Unions for Kids with a $5,000 contribution and by participating in the 2026 CU for Kids Wine Auction/Golf Charity event in Dana Point, California.

Warm Feet, Warm Hearts - January Sock Drive

Catalyst employees supported Streetside Showers through our Warm Feet, Warm Hearts initiative by donating time and resources during a January sock drive. Together, staff donations and Catalyst’s contribution provided 895 pairs of socks to help individuals experiencing homelessness – reflecting our commitment to community impact and the credit union philosophy of people helping people.

Carter Blood Care

We partnered with Carter Blood Care and the American Red Cross of North Texas to donate blood in November 2025.

"Fore" the Food Bank

In October, Catalyst's employees collected food to donate to local food banks to help those in need. Catalyst's leadership used the boxes and cans of food to create mini-golf holes for staff to play. The donations and play were a great way to engage and give back. 

Kerr County Flood Relief Fund

In the wake of the recent devastating floods in the Texas Hill Country, countless families and communities are facing unimaginable hardships.  Homes have been destroyed, essential services disrupted, and lives upended.Catalyst donated $25,000 to the relief fund. Additionally, our employees contributed over $7,500 with Catalyst's corresponding match.

Disaster Relief - Fall '24 & Winter '25

In February of 2025, Catalyst team members donated $2,748.33 to support credit union employees affected by the recent wildfires in Southern California. Catalyst doubled their match twice, bringing our total donation to $8,244.99 and then boosted our support with an additional $50,000 to the National Credit Union Foundation’s CUAid. We also donated $10,000 to credit unions in the southeast following back-to-back hurricanes in the Fall of 2024.

More Than Pink Walk

The Catalyst Cares team participated in the 2024 Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk. Catalyst matched the walkers' funds raised and donations given separately by employees.

Carter Blood Care

We partnered with Carter Blood Care and the American Red Cross of North Texas to donate blood in July 2024.

Sock it to 'em

We did the sock donation at the Catalyst Brand Camp in February 2024 and collected over 1,000 pair of socks to donate to the homeless and less fortunate.

Support our Soldiers

During our annual Thanksgiving luncheon in November 2023, we had Holiday Cards to sign for 10,000 troops serving overseas.

Maui Wildfire Relief

In August 2023 we collected money for the Maui wildfire relief efforts through the Valley Isle Chapter of the Hawaii CU League. The employees donated a total of $5,106.52 and Catalyst matched their donations for a total contribution of $10,213.04.

City House

In August 2023, we purchased supplies and worked with City House to put together hygiene kits for children in need.

Lovepacs

Team members purchased supplies and packaged Lovepacs in October 2022.

Ukrainian Credit Union Displacement Fund

In April 2022, with employee donations and online contributions plus Catalyst matching those efforts, we were able to donate a total of $8,171 to the Ukrainian Credit Union Displacement Fund.
