Catalyst's upcoming wire platform modernization effort and our planned transition to a new wire experience within CatalystPay in TranZact is progressing. As we move closer to implementation, we'd like to provide an update on what to expect in the coming months and how your credit union can begin preparing.
What is changing?
As part of this transition, wire functionality will move to CatalystPay, providing a modernized experience with enhanced capabilities designed to support evolving payments needs. Previously announced enhancements include support for ISO 20022 messaging standards, enhanced upload and download functionality, third-party wire service integrations, anomaly detection capabilities and a tax payment interface.
Our target launch remains late September 2026.
Current project timeline
While implementation work continues behind the scenes, here are the milestones currently planned:
- Early August – TranZact administrator training begins.
- Late August – Testing environment available.
- Late September – Planned production launch of the new wire platform.
As project milestones are finalized, we will continue sharing updates and important dates. Based on current planning, training information and registration opportunities will be shared later this summer.

How your credit union can prepare
Although no immediate action is required, now is a good time to begin identifying the individuals who will be most involved in the transition, including:
- TranZact administrators
- Wire operations staff
- Wire approvers and power users
- Other employees who regularly initiate or manage wire activity
We also recommend reviewing your current wire user list and inventory any TranZact wire templates so your credit union is prepared when training and testing opportunities become available.
