Diego Arias
ALM Analyst
Diego works with client credit unions to provide them quarterly ALM analysis. Using the internally-developed ALPS (Asset Liability Pricing System) ALM model, he helps to quantify concentration and interest rate risk on their balance sheets.
Prior to joining Catalyst Strategic Solutions in November 2023, Diego worked at Caliber Home Loans on the Capital Markets Operations team. His responsibilities involved creating, managing, and assuring settlement of mortgage-backed securities to be sold on the secondary markets. Diego also served in the United States Navy from 2015 to 2019.
Diego has his Master of Science in Finance degree, with a focus on investments and portfolio management, from the University of Dallas, where he managed the Industrial sector of the SMI (Student Managed Index) fund.
