NextGen Perspectives: Young Professionals at Forum 2023

by Catalyst Corporate | Sep 05, 2023

Catalyst Corporate recognizes that the next generation of credit union leaders is building their skills and expertise in the industry and influencing decisions within their own organizations. To encourage growth and career advancement, Catalyst is hosting five young professionals to “crash” this year’s Economic & Payments Forum in Plano, Texas later this month.

Define a credit union young professional – a credit union employee under the age of 40 who is passionate about the credit union movement.

Traveling from UPS Employees FCU in Ontario, California is Michelle Bees. Representing Pampa Teachers Federal Credit Union from Pampa, Texas is Avery Bentley. From Lake Charles, Louisiana are Tray Braud, Nikki Johnson and Kyle Williams with CSE FCU. All accepted the invitation to serve as a young professional representative at this year’s event.

Together, these five YPs will explore Catalyst’s Economic & Payments Forum and share their experiences afterward with other credit union young professionals. They will attend the sessions and participate in the program, forging connections with industry peers and gathering knowledge to apply at their credit unions.

Let’s meet the young professionals who will attend Forum. On the YP Crasher application, Catalyst asked individuals what they hoped to learn from attending Forum 2023. Below are their responses:
