The initial release of the Federal Reserve’s FedNow℠ Service, set for July 2023, will act as an accelerant in the adoption of faster payments in the U.S. Learn from credit union leaders and subject matter experts how your credit union can prepare for, and participate in, faster payments at Catalyst Corporate’s free, in-person event. The half-day workshop will cover the latest industry developments, along with how to develop a faster payments strategy, best practices, operational considerations and next steps to evaluate at your institution.

Operational considerations

Catalyst Corporate’s faster payments team will explore the importance of the user experience and integral attributes to achieving interoperability. Ensuring a user-friendly interface on the front end and connectivity to multiple rails on the back end is crucial for gaining your members’ adoption. 

Lastly, the workshop will look at how existing payment rails and new instant payment rails, including the FedNow Service and Real-time Payments (RTP), require that credit unions consider a holistic payment solution to accommodate their members needs for all their payments activity.
